FITF Mix 007: Quadrant Soundscape

We are really excited to welcome Quadrant Soundscape to our mix series with a beautifully curated 2 hour journey.

Quadrant Soundscape is a Manchester based duo made up of Asphalt Layer and Wilson Logan. Focusing on Dub Techno and Detroit sounds they have been running ‘Dub Explorations’ for over 10 years, hosting radio shows, mix series and parties at Easten Bloc.

They will be making their FITF debut this year and hosting Dub Explorations on ‘The Hollow’ during Saturday day.

Our final stage spotlight is ‘The Hollow’.

The Hollow is an intimate 200 capacity stage set in a sunken amphitheatre deep in the forest.

Located at the centre of the site it features a top quality custom built sound system from .

Running times:

Friday 12.00pm - 4.00am
Saturday 11.00am - 4.00am

Our second stage spotlight is ‘Sett’.

Sett is an intimate 150 capacity stage situated in a natural clearing in the middle of the woods.

Located at the top of the site it features a finely tuned Funktion One sound system from MARKS Audio Solutions Ltd

We are really excited to welcome back this year to curate our on-site record store in ‘The Den’.

Where Wax is an Independent record shop established in 2016, specialising in underground dance music. Rooted in community and culture, Where Wax exists to create moments through music and introduce people to new sounds through the timeless medium of vinyl.

They carry an extensive collection of top-quality new and second-hand vinyl, specialising in underground electronic music.

Make sure you pop by for a dig.

With only 8 weeks to go and in the run up to the festival we wanted to shine a spotlight on our stages.

First up we have ‘The Den’.

Located in the heart of the traders Village, it features a 50 capacity dance floor, chill out area with sofas and is home to our on site record store hosted by the fantastic Where Wax.

Sound for the stage will be driven by a custom built Bosun Sound system, delivering powerful, finely tuned audio throughout the space.

Friday 10:00 - 23:00
Saturday 10:00 - 23:00
Sunday 10:00 - 16:00
