Wow! If a weekend of record-breaking marathon running and thousands of runners crossing the finish line after months of training doesn’t inspire you to lace up your trainers, what will?

Congratulations to everyone who ran London yesterday, or other big events over the past few weeks - an amazing achievement!

Marathon season always reminds us what running can achieve. And if all the buzz has got you thinking about taking up running, increasing your distance, or setting your sights on a record of your own, why not add our summer run to your calendar?

Take on 5k, 10k or a half marathon on Sunday 7th June along the scenic trail paths through Stanwick Lakes. These events help support the charity that looks after the nature reserve and maintains the paths for all visitors to enjoy year-round.
