Introducing our star spangled new HOST Kasim Choudhry!

As Multicultural Apprenticeship Ambassador at Pathway Group and Non-Executive Director of the Multicultural Apprenticeship Alliance and ThinkFest, Kasim leads initiatives focused on diversity, inclusion, equity and social mobility across apprenticeships, entrepreneurship and business. Having started his career in the financial and legal sector, he experienced workplace inequality first-hand and is passionate about creating opportunities for underrepresented communities.

Kasim is the former President and now Honorary Chair of Future Faces at the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, supporting the development of young professionals and future regional leaders. He is also the former Interim CEO of the Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs and founder of the Social Economy Awards, championing the growth and impact of the social economy.

fizzPOP Birmingham is a non-profit, member-run makerspace based in Digbeth, bringing together a vibrant community of creators, innovators, and curious minds. The Master’s Foundation is a UK registered charity established approximately 15 years ago by the Master Family to support those in need and to responsibly steward the blessings entrusted to them.

The Foundation works across education, healthcare, disaster and emergency relief, food support, microfinance, and community development, both in the UK and internationally. Education is a core focus, with support for schools in Africa including school construction, school fees, and higher education bursaries.

The Foundation has also built relationships with UK universities that provide subsidised opportunities for international students.

Its healthcare work includes funding medical projects and hospital support, while emergency relief efforts provide rapid assistance during crises. The Foundation also supports local community initiatives, welfare programmes, food relief, and assistance for orphans and vulnerable individuals, aiming to assist and strengthen communities.

In relation to TEDxMoseley, Murtaza Master, one of the Foundation’s founders, is deeply appreciative of platforms that promote the exchange of ideas and the advancement of learning. With education forming a core pillar of the Foundation’s work, it is a source of great pride to see an internationally respected forum for ideas being hosted in the city of Birmingham.

Live Doodle is a London based illustration, design and animation studio mainly focused on Live Scribe, Graphic Recording, Remote Live Scribe, Visual Storytelling, Rich Picture, Infographic, Doodle, Cartoon, Presentation Design, Whiteboard Animation, and Explainer Videos.

They help brands to convert their complex & boring content to clear & engaging unique doodles and animations with years of experience.

We interviewed their founder, Oguzhan Secir (Ozzy), to see why he decided to partner with TEDxMoseley and what brought him into the live scribe arena!

Ozzy is an illustrator, cartoonist, live scribe artist and whiteboard animator with over 25+ years of experience in the digital art, illustration, cartoon and design industry. He combines his drawing skills with his digital & marketing agency experience to create unique business artworks.
