🤩 Save the Date! 🍎Warwick's Apple Weekend & Country Fair 🍏 returns to Hill Close Gardens on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October
👉 Set in the UK’s only remaining collection of Victorian detached leisure gardens (just by Warwick Racecourse) you can see, learn about, taste and buy some varieties from Warwick's historic orchard boasting more than 70 historic apple varieties.
🏡 Apple Weekend also features an array of local craft stalls, independent artisans, book stalls, and community displays.

🍂 Hill Close is (almost) back to normal and looking glorious!
🔶 After a long, dry summer, autumn has arrived like a breath of fresh air at Hill Close Gardens, and the jewel-toned autumn blooms are glowing
😍 Come and see the vibrant pink and blue asters, and our first chrysanthemum of the season 'Ted's Yellow', named after a much-loved neighbour.
👀 Keep an eye out for cyclamen and colchicum too, which love to catch you by surprise, popping up in flower before a single leaf appears.
🪷 The last of the dahlias are still going strong, joined now by delicate pink and white Japanese anemones.
Andin the veg plots, it's harvest time!

🌻 This Thursday 10th September join our pre-school gardeners for a special Grow, Learn & Explore session at Hill Close Gardens, Warwick's restored Victorian gardens.
🏡 We'll celebrate the end of summer by planting bulbs in the Children’s Garden, watering the flowers, feeding the birds and you can take home some juicy apples grown in our gardens too! 🍎🍏Thursday 10th September 10:00 – 11:30.

🌿 The team at Hill Close Gardens, Warwick's restored Victorian Gardens, has been busy preparing for this weekend's Warwick Horticultural & Allotment Society Show! 🌸🍎
🌞 Despite the challenging weather, we'll be proudly exhibiting some of the very best produce that we've grown this summer, including fragrant herbs, crisp apples, juicy plums, delicious figs, stunning dahlias, and much more.
