Calling all Psychiatrists! If you are, or you know a psychiatrist willing to take part, please consider the following important piece of research.

Attitudes on psychedelics survey for European psychiatrists
This survey is part of a study that aims to explore attitudes on psychedelics in psychiatrists. It is conducted by a team from the University of Split School of Medicine, Croatia. The first part of this survey consists of a brief test in which you identify psychedelics substances, while the second part consists of survey items about attitudes on psychedelics.
Psychiatrists and other mental health experts have a crucial role in treating mental illness, therefore the rationale of the study is to explore their opinions on novel treatments such as psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. So far no study has widely assessed psychiatrists’ attitudes by using a questionnaire. The instrument used for the survey, the Attitudes on Psychedelics Questionnaire (APQ) has previously been validated in the general population. This survey is its first use among psychiatrists. Its validation in this study will allow further use in exploring psychiatrists’ attitudes and will allow the comparison and determinants of attitudes on psychedelics among different groups, as well as to follow attitude trends over time.
You can access the survey here – filling it out takes about 5 minutes:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2WFJVZ2

Your responses to this survey will remain fully anonymous. They will be used for research purposes only and analysed at a group level. Only members of the research team will have access to your data. This survey is fully voluntary and is meant for all individuals who are psychiatrists and are working within a European country. For more information about the survey, you can e-mail the principal investigator at [email protected]

Chronic pain is one of the leading causes of disability worldwide. Fibromyalgia, a condition characterised by widespread chronic pain, remains poorly understood with limited options for treatment. Psilocybin may provide an opportunity to affect the personal impact of pain in people living with fibromyalgia, and here, we wish to better understand how it may work.
