Hyams Haunted House didn’t take home the SCAR Award this year, but we walked out as finalists, and that alone is huge for a volunteer run charity haunt built in a back garden in Warsash.

Standing alongside some of the biggest attractions in the UK scare industry was an honour. Being recognised at that level proves something important. A small home haunt can compete with the best.

We’re proud of our team, our actors, and every single person who screamed, donated, or supported us over the last 9 years. This nomination fuels what comes next.

Next week we’ll be at ScareCON for the SCAR Awards, standing shoulder to shoulder with some of the biggest attractions in the UK. A true David vs Goliath moment for a home haunt built in a back garden, now stepping onto the same stage as industry giants.
