🙌 We’re hosting a Steward Drop In! 🙌

Would you like to be part of the biggest voluntary-led disability event in the world? If you’re interested in becoming a DAD Steward and want to learn more about what’s involved, come along to our Steward Drop In at the Centre for Independent Living on Saturday 13th June.

This is a great opportunity to meet the team, ask questions and find out how you can help make Disability Awareness Day 2026 another amazing event for everyone involved. No need to book, just drop in, everyone is welcome! 💙

🌈 🎉 Party in the Park is BACK for DAD 2026! 🎉🌈

Hosted by Warrington Youth Zone, this fantastic FREE event is specially for disabled children, young people, young adults and young carers to come together for an evening packed with fun, friendship and entertainment. 💙

Join us on Thursday 9th July from 5pm–8pm for exciting activities, music, games and relaxing sensory zones in a safe and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy. We can’t wait to see lots of familiar and new faces there!

Steward applications are now officially open to join this year’s DAD ARMY at Disability Awareness Day 2026! 🎉

Our stewards play a huge role in helping the day run smoothly by welcoming visitors, supporting exhibitors, assisting attendees and helping create the friendly, inclusive atmosphere that makes DAD so special every year.

Whether you’ve volunteered with us before or would like to get involved for the first time, this is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, gain experience, support your community and be part of an unforgettable event.

Our Queen Tribute Night tickets are officially on sale now as part of DAD Week 2026! 🎶👑

Join us on Friday 10th July at Walton Hall & Gardens, for a brilliant night of live music with the amazing Queen tribute band, I Want It All. Expect all the classic hits, and an amazing disco!

The event runs from 7:30pm – 11:30pm and is set to be a fantastic evening full of music, dancing, and entertainment.

Are you ready for DAD 2026? 🎉💙

We’re so excited to welcome everyone back to Walton Hall and Gardens for the 35th year of Disability Awareness Day 2026 on Sunday 12th July!

We’ve been looking back through photos from previous years and it’s amazing to see so many wonderful memories, smiling faces, and the incredible community spirit that makes DAD such a special day for everyone involved.

We can’t wait to see you all again for another exciting year filled with activities, entertainment, exhibitors, and community togetherness.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another fantastic day of inclusion, entertainment, information and fun for all ages. From live performances and activities to local organisations, support services and community groups, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.
