Ware 6-a-Side League Match Report — Monday 11 May 2026
An entertaining evening in the Ware 6-a-side league produced plenty of goals, dramatic finishes, and a couple of dominant performances as teams battled it out across five fixtures.
Mary’s Old Boys 1–6 Moleicester City FC
Moleicester City FC delivered one of the standout performances of the night with a ruthless 6-1 victory over Mary’s Old Boys.
From the opening whistle, Moleicester controlled possession and moved the ball sharply, creating chances almost at will. Mary’s Old Boys struggled to contain the pace and movement in attack, eventually conceding six times despite moments of resistance. A consolation goal gave them something to take away, but this was very much Moleicester’s evening as they announced themselves as serious contenders.
Ready Toulouse 3–2 Hertford Hotshots FC
The closest contest of the night saw Ready Toulouse edge past Hertford Hotshots FC in a hard-fought 3-2 thriller.
Both sides traded chances throughout in an evenly matched encounter packed with intensity and quick transitions. The Hotshots stayed in the game until the final whistle, but Ready Toulouse showed composure in front of goal when it mattered most, securing a valuable victory in one of the most entertaining matches of the evening.
2 Goals 1 Cup 10–1 Real Sosobad
2 Goals 1 Cup ran riot in a stunning attacking display, putting ten past Real Sosobad in the highest-scoring game of the night.
Clinical finishing and relentless pressure overwhelmed Sosobad from early on, with the floodgates opening quickly. Despite grabbing a goal of their own, Real Sosobad simply had no answer to the relentless attacking quality on display. The emphatic scoreline sends a strong message to the rest of the league.
We Don’t Care 3–4 El Dicente
El Dicente came out on top in a seven-goal thriller against We Don’t Care, winning 4-3 in dramatic fashion.
The match swung back and forth throughout, with both teams showing attacking intent and defensive vulnerability. We Don’t Care fought hard to stay level, but El Dicente managed to find the decisive edge in the closing stages to seal all three points in a highly entertaining contest.
Out of Retirement FC 2–4 Exeter Gently FC
Exeter Gently FC finished the night strongly with a solid 4-2 win over Out of Retirement FC.
After a competitive opening period, Exeter Gently gradually took control through sharp passing and composed finishing. Out of Retirement FC remained dangerous on the counter and kept themselves within touching distance, but Exeter Gently managed the game well in the latter stages to secure a deserved victory.
