Hope you’ve all had a well-deserved rest?

Volunteers are needed to help litter pick for an hour or two this evening from 5pm. Please pop down to the Kinecroft for a bit; grabbers, bags, & hi-viz are all there ready. Any time you can give is humongonormously appreciated!

DeBunking the whole situation.

Volunteer teams are packing everything away by Thursday, ready to think about doing it all again!

We hope everyone had a whale of a time enjoying the music on the main stages and in over 20 fringe venues, the workshops in the Magic Teapot, choirs and African beats in the Churches, best beers in the bars, arts, crafts, fairground, traders, food, wellbeing, singing trains and singing boats, to mention only some of the stuff that went on!

All of this is possible only because of volunteers, sponsors, donations, and Wallingford being amazing. Thank you everyone for another great year, and please support this and future events by buying merch here

The Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire presents the The King’s Award For Voluntary Service to BunkFest for providing a free, access-for-all, annual music festival in Wallingford entirely run by volunteers.

Equivalent to an MBE, KAVS is the highest Award given to local voluntary groups in the UK, and they are awarded for life.

This award is for every volunteer in every role since 2002. BunkFest could not happen without you.

Good morning team Wallingford! What a beautiful day!

BunkFest Sunday kicks off with a Church Service on the Bullcroft at 10:10, and straight in to a full day jam-packed throughout town with children’s entertainments, workshops, crafts, bands, acts, gigs, and dance.

The King’s Award for Voluntary Service will be presented on the Kinecroft main stage at 2:30pm by the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire to the hundreds and hundreds of volunteers who make BunkFest so special.

The weather is set to be a sizzler so please take care!

Additional fire precautions are in place and there are free water refill points; here are a few notes on what you can do to stay safe & ensure everyone enjoys themselves:

🔥 🔥 Fire Safety 🔥 🔥
We’ve added lots more firefighting equipment and additional cigarette disposal
🔥 No naked flames
🔥 Make sure ci******es are completely extinguished before disposal
🔥 If you spot a fire inform the nearest steward or security team immediately
🔥 If there is any doubt dial 999 - always be safe rather than sorry
🔥 Follow all safety advice on the campsites

🚰 Carry a refillable water bottle & make use of the free water refill points
💧 Drink water regularly, even if you don’t feel thirsty
🧴 Wear sunscreen, a hat, and lightweight clothing
🌳 Seek shade during the hottest parts of the day
🍺 Avoid dehydration & excessive alcohol consumption
🍽️ Eat regularly
😴 Get enough rest and avoid spending too long in direct sunlight
👀 Look out for your friends and those around you who may be struggling in the heat

Most importantly, enjoy yourselves, stay hydrated, look after one another and have a fantastic BunkFest26!

United by a love of tea, energetic dancing, cheeky riffs, silly hats and, of course, cake, Mr Tea and the Minions have been serving up their colourful brand of musical mayhem since 2013.

Their infectious mix of raucous Ska Folk, full-fat Balkan beats and a cheeky squeeze of Dub has made them firm festival favourites — guaranteed to get feet moving and crowds bouncing wherever they go.

And tonight, they’re bringing the party to BunkFest! 🎶🔥

🎪 Mr Tea and the Minions will be closing the Bullcroft Stage this evening.

Come prepared to dance. The hats are optional. The tea is probably not. 🍵🎩💃

Who’s fully recharged and ready for another day in BunkFest wonderland?

The Body Training Studio workout is underway on the Bullcroft, as well as workshops in The Magic Teapot, followed by The Newbies Set in the Bullcroft stage at 11:30.

Awesome local band Cheap Suits The Kinecroft stage kicks off at midday. The Fringe starts Fringin’ at over 25 venues and the dancers start dancin’ throughout town from 11
