Mel & Steve are a husband-and-wife team fighting for animal liberation, vegan for over four and a half years after witnessing the exploitation that broke their hearts. Going vegan together, they immediately knew their purpose, realising tears alone wouldn’t create change - actions would. Since that moment, they have committed themselves fully to doing all they can. Through undercover investigations, street outreach, hard-hitting social media content and relentless livestreams outside slaughterhouses, Mel & Steve bring the public to places they would never go, exposing hidden exploitation and putting direct pressure on the industries responsible. They also run Project Livestream, inspiring activists everywhere to take cameras to slaughterhouses, livestream and hold these industries to account. Every action matters, and through visibility, courage, and persistence, Mel & Steve aim to awaken others to the truth and drive real change for animals.
