All are welcome wether you're a performer of sorts or a fan of live entertainment. We've a full backline including drums, guitar and bass amps, electric piano and vox. 8pm onwards with a complimentary drink for each performer- Come join the jam!!! 🐝

Just a reminder folks that tomorrow (Wednesday) we're doing this!!! Anyone about in town please feel free to drop in and say hello as we link up with The Art Exchange and Artwalk Wakefield for an extra night this week of musical magic and mayhem.

We are so freaking excited to announce that Bazza Bee's Open Mic Jamboree is officially joining us for The Art Exchange CIC Artwalk Takeover evening!

For those who don't know Bazza, he is a true champion of the Wakefield scene. For years, he has tirelessly encouraged new talent and supported local musicians, giving them a platform to shine at his legendary open mic nights every Thursday (currently rocking at O'Connor's irish tavern).

Now, he’s bringing that incredible energy to The Art Exchange CIC for one night only!

We want to fill the studio with the best sounds in the city. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a fresh talent looking for a supportive stage:

Sooo folks, this just in!!! There will be an extra installment of musical magic and mayhem this month as we join in with Artwalk Wakefield and The Art Exchange takeover. It's in a fantastic space hidden away in Westgate Studios, right in the town center above Popworld and overlooking our Merrie City from above. It's totally worth going up there just for a look! There will be however, much more than that should you wish to find entertainment, by means of a one off open mic jam, hosted by our very selves at Bazza Bee's Open Mic Jamboree!!! All welcome as ever and even a complimentary drink or two for performers. 🐝 x

Hey Folks!!! Hope all are well and you've enjoyed the festive break. Tomorrow we kick back off with our first jam of 2026!
Join us from 8pm down at O'Connor's irish tavern for some sonic shenanigans. 🎶 ☘️
All are welcome so why not come down and join us wether you're a musician, poet, stand up comedian or just fancy a jar or two in good company!

Hey Folks!!! Hope the week's fared you well so far 😊. Join us tonight at O'Connor's irish tavern for a spookalicious episode of sonic shenanigans! 🧛‍♂️
Come do us a deathly ditty, tomb-worthy tune or just make one in for the craic of being there. All are welcome with a complimentary pint for each performer and of course - fancy dress is heavily encouraged! With maybe even a prize (probably booze) for the best dressed. See you soooooon! 👻 x

Join us this evening at O'Connor's irish tavern for some more sonic shenanigans in their newly renovated Jam cavern! (What used to be Jock's).
Kicking off around 7:30ish there'll be a full backline setup including drums, bass and guitar amps aswell as an electric piano 🎹 🎶.

What an absolutely awesome night!! Here's just a couple of pics from last night's Jamboree, the first in a while with a full band setup. Massive thanks to all you lovely lot that came along and showed your support by joining in singing, playing, dancing or simply by just being there. A special thanks to Connor and Co at O'Connor's irish tavern. What you've done to the place to accommodate us is beyond praise!
Sooo... same time, same place next week. Downstairs at O'Connor's from 7:30pm-ish.
Full backline and PA setup including drumkit aaannd the new addition of an electric piano.
