2024 was Our Year and together we found Our Place!

Our Year โ€“ Wakefield District 2024 showed us that culture is connection. Itโ€™s the threads that tie us together across the whole Wakefield District. It is in Our Place, our towns and villages, our city centre and our parks, our nature reserves and our canals and rivers too. And itโ€™s happening everywhere you look.
