Pics & videos from my 2200mile/3600km charity cycle round every distillery in Scotland, May/June '22, and 400 miles/600km around Wales, May '24. During the summer of 2022 I aim to cycle from the most southerly distillery in Scotland (Bladnoch, Dumfries and Galloway) to the most northerly (Saxa Vord, Unst, Shetland) via every operating single malt distillery in the country. The aim is to raise money in aid of the Scottish regions of the charity Cash for Kids and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance. Along with simply travelling the distances involved, it is hoped each distillery visited will donate at least one bottle of whisky to a central event collection, creating a unique whisky collection containing a bottle from every distillery in Scotland. This will then be auctioned after the event, further raising funds in aid of the charities. The entire ride will use GPS tracking technology and various social media channels to allow people to follow my journey live/near-live; and it is hoped that other riders may get involved along the way. So if you fancy tagging along while I ride through your local patch, or even fancy joining me for a day in a new area for yourself, feel free to jump on board, the more the merrier.
