Anyone spending the weekend planning their veg patch? With that in mind here are some of the categories for this year's show:

All roads lead to Prema

Tell you what, we’re feeling just a bit bored of (and slightly miffed about) the roadworks. But we thought it was worth taking a moment or two to reassure you that Prema and Vestry are very much here and accessible by most routes (no matter what the road signs might suggest).

If you’re coming to Prema from Stroud then just fire-on over Selsley Common as you always do. There’s signs at the Sainsbury’s roundabout which are advising of road closures but we promise that you’ll be able to get all the way to us. The closure happens between Uley and Dursley.

If you’re coming from Dursley then the route here is slightly more frustrating. The Uley Road (B4066) is closed from the ‘dippy’ at Rockstowes to Angeston Grange and so you’ll need to take an alternative route to reach us.

The least complicated (although longest) route is up Whiteway Hill and then take the left fork towards Pyke Quarry but don’t turn right for Horsley (and the tip) keep going straight towards Cockadilly & Nympsfield. At the crossroads at the top of Frocester Hill turn left for the village of Uley (again, the road signs tell you ROAD CLOSED) but from here you’ll be able to get all the way into Uley and down to Prema.

If you’re confident driving lanes and proficient at reversing, then there’s always the slightly shorter routes via Lampern Hill or the back lanes between Coaley and Uley (not for the faint-hearted or those worried about their paintwork or pranging their wing-mirrors).

Sorry about the hassle. We’re promised that that the road closure will finish next Friday. And big, shiny thank-yous to all those who have braved the diversions to visit us.

It's show day!

Exhibitors please have display and have vacated by 10:30am when judging commences.

Doors open to the public from 2pm, we've got a brilliant raffle and some fabulous cakes and refreshments.

11th September - entries close
13th September - show day! (entries accepted 8:30am until 10:30am *doors closing promptly)
13th September - 2pm Open to all with refreshments and a fabulous raffle 🎁
