Well I don’t really know where to start. I’m buzzing. A win at home against a rival in the table, scoring 3 goals and an overall good performance. Doesn’t get much better than that. It was a must win to be honest. A loss tonight would have caused us the most problems we’ve had all season, with some HUGEEEE games coming in the next few weeks....

Firstly, WOW! What a month of action that was. We saw everything but a 9 Darter, which I shall never forgive nor forget… but regardless that is one of the best World Championship tournaments we have ever had. A massive congratulations to Luke Humphries who dodged many hurdles on his way to picking up the trophy, most notably a last leg decider against Joe Cullen, but none of that is relevant now he has the trophy in his hands!...

With the season underway, the dust is still swirling and the desert winds of Saudi Arabia are blowing gold all over the Premier League and Europe. Clubs are trying to find their feet and settle, yet with the transfer window still open, it's hard to gauge exactly where everyone will be come the beginning of September. Fulham are preparing themselves for another assault on their main striker Aleksander Mitrovic from Al-Hilal, and this time, with Mitrovic massively in favour of the move, it looks like it's going to happen......

This week the Prem is back, but with one noticeable absentee for the start of term. As I write, Harry Kane or Herr Kane as he may now be called, is having a medical with the German champs Bayern Munich. A reported fee of 100m euros is being touted with Harry looking at a 4 year deal. With Bayern having won the Bundesliga 11 times in a row up till this season, it seems he's nailed on to finally win some trophies, and i'm sure the one he'll really want is the Champions League....

We're back! The waiting is nearly over and the new season has come around quicker than the summer - thankfully something to look forward to!
