Experience one of the most influential live bands in world music history as Osibisa arrive at Trading Boundaries on Friday 29th May for a rare intimate dinner & concert experience.

Formed in London in 1969 by Ghanaian and Caribbean musicians, Osibisa fused African rhythms, jazz, funk, Caribbean grooves, Latin and rock into a sound that changed music forever. Widely regarded as the godfathers of world music, their influence can still be heard across modern dance, Afrobeat and global fusion music today.

From the iconic Roger Dean album artwork to unforgettable live performances around the world, Osibisa became renowned for explosive rhythms, energy, joy and spectacular musicianship — sharing stages with artists including Santana and performing festivals such as WOMAD.
Translated from Ghanaian, Osibisa means:
“Criss-cross rhythms that explode with happiness.”
