Giving a shout-out to a fantastic band heading our way this Friday night — and they’ve just sent us this video... 🔥🔥

Influenced by their great heroes Led Zeppelin and Rory Gallagher, expect The Welfare to deliver a night of raw and unfiltered rock, blues and soul just as it was played back in the 1970’s in the pubs, clubs and at festivals.

So, why don't you ‘ramble on’ down to the Magic Lantern for a ‘whole lotta love’ but make sure you bring those ‘bullfrog blues’ with you!

Friday Night is Music Night is a free event but donations are always welcome so we can pay our bands and keep these events free for all to enjoy.

Tickets for 12–19-year-olds are £6 and include a small popcorn and a soft drink, juice or cordial. 😊

This film is part of our Lantern Loves selection for September and comes highly recommended by our own Mark, Mat and Ella.

Joe and Angela’s marriage is on thin ice. When they invite their enigmatic upstairs neighbors for a dinner party, the night spirals into unexpected places. Have they reignited the spark or lit the match that burns it all down.

The Invite is the third film by actress and filmmaker Olivia Wilde (Booksmart, Don't Worry Darling) and boasts an impressive cast, including Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz, Edward Norton and Wilde herself.
