A huge THANK YOU to everyone who opened their homes and hosted an artist for Totnes Fringe 2026. 🧡

Artists come to Totnes from across the UK and beyond, and having somewhere welcoming to stay can make all the difference to whether they’re able to take part.

By offering a spare room, a bed and a warm Totnes welcome, our brilliant hosts helped us keep costs down for artists and made our Fringe feel that little bit more special.

It’s another wonderful example of our community helping to make the festival happen.

Thank you to every one of you who hosted an artist. You were part of the Fringe too. 🧡

Totnes Fringe Festival is powered by an extraordinary team of volunteers — supported by our generous sponsors, funders and the wider Totnes community.

And we do things a little differently.

80% of our ticket income goes directly to our artists.The remaining 20%, together with sponsorship, grants and fundraising, helps us create the platform that makes the festival possible.

As the Fringe continues to grow, we know that some roles will need to become paid and we’ll need to secure further funding to make that sustainable.

But at the heart of the festival will remain the people who give their time, skills, energy and support to make it happen.

Our volunteers. Our community. Our artists. Our supporters.

Together, they make Totnes Fringe possible. 🧡

🎭 VOLUNTEER - COME AND BE PART OF THE FRINGE TEAM 👀🧡

Totnes Fringe is heading to the Totnes Volunteer Fair this Saturday along with lots of our venues, partners and supporters— and we’d love to meet YOU !

The Fringe takes a whole load of brilliant people to make it happen. From welcoming artists and audiences to venues, tech, bars, box office, marketing, sponsorship, photography, production and behind-the-scenes organisation — there are all sorts of ways to get involved.

Whether you’ve got skills you’d like to bring, want to learn something new, meet people or simply fancy being part of four extraordinary days in Totnes, come and have a chat.

A few of the brilliant team who kept our Box Office running during the 2026 Totnes Fringe. 💛

And yes, the headgear was absolutely part of the job.

A big Fringe thank you to our sponsors Hadley Paper Goods, who supplied some very fetching head and eyewear for the occasion.

Two particular favourites — Chief Witch and Pain in the Arse — were beautifully modelled here by audience members on the Rotherfold Stage, which Hadley also sponsored.

Some crowns really do find their rightful owners. 😄
