🎭 Open Air Theatre: Twelfth Night

Get in a fight. Cross-dress. Throw on some yellow stockings. Love can make you do the funniest things…! The critically-acclaimed Pantaloons Theatre Company present their own brand of Shakespearean mayhem.

Separated at sea, twins Viola and Sebastian wash up on the island of Illyria, both fearing the other lost forever. Plied pranksters, puritanical pillocks and perhaps even true love await them as they forge their own paths through this new world of fools, jewels, duels and dual-identities.

Family-friendly fun with live music and audience participation!

Hosted at:
Arlington Court (NT) - Wed 26 Aug 2026, 6:30pm

🌍 Join us for The Plough Earth Film Festival on the 12th of September at 6pm! 🎬

A powerful evening of thought-provoking films, conversation, and connection as we explore some of the most urgent and hopeful environmental stories of our time. Through a carefully curated programme of documentaries and short films, the event shines a light on regenerative farming, climate change, rewilding, biodiversity, and conservation, celebrating the people and projects working to restore and protect the natural world.

From innovative approaches to sustainable agriculture to uplifting stories of ecological recovery, the films invite audiences to rethink our relationship with nature and consider how positive change can happen at both local and global levels.

More than just a film screening, this is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and engage in meaningful discussion with fellow audience members, environmental advocates, growers, and change-makers. Throughout the evening there will be space for conversation, shared ideas, and community dialogue inspired by the themes explored on screen.

Whether you are passionate about the environment, curious about regenerative practices, or simply looking for an evening of inspiring storytelling and fresh perspectives, this event offers a welcoming space to learn, connect, and leave feeling informed and hopeful about the future.

🎬 Maya and the Wave
Epic Big Wave Surfing documentary crashes back onto The Plough’s big screen this Friday
See you there 🤙

🗓️THIS FRIDAY! Friday 5 June, 7:30pm
🌊Film - Documentary: Maya and the Wave 🏄🏽‍♀️

This breathtaking documentary follows Brazilian big-wave surfer Maya Gabeira as she pursues a dream many believe is impossible. Drawn to some of the most powerful and dangerous waves on Earth, Maya must battle not only the unforgiving force of the ocean but also skepticism, prejudice, and resistance within a sport long dominated by men.

Filmed over more than a decade, the documentary captures the physical and emotional toll of chasing greatness, as Maya confronts devastating setbacks, life-threatening risks, and relentless pressure to prove she belongs among the world's elite surfers. With spectacular footage from the towering waves of Nazaré, Portugal, and unprecedented access to Maya's personal journey, the film becomes far more than a sports story—it is a gripping portrait of resilience, ambition, and determination in the face of overwhelming odds.

As the challenges mount and the stakes grow ever higher, Maya and the Wave keeps viewers on edge, revealing just how much one person is willing to risk in pursuit of a dream, while leaving the ultimate outcome to unfold on screen.
