Cornwall 2018 Summer Teddybear Festival SUNDAY 1st JULY 2018
We are delighted to invite you to join us again at this popular event at our new home at the prestigious King Arthurs Great Halls Fore Street TINTAGEL, CORNWALL on Sunday 1st July 2018. King Arthur’s Great Halls is an atmospheric and historic building in Tintagel, Cornwall, legendary birthplace of King Arthur. This unique venue, with it
s massive stone built hall, has a round table, granite thrones and 73 stained glass windows illustrating the Arthurian legend designed and crafted by Veronica Whall during 1930 – 33, ranks highly in leading tourism guides for this stunning area of outstanding natural beauty. The Halls were built in the 1930's by Frederick Thomas Glasscock as the home of the Order of the Fellowship of the Knights of the Round Table of King Arthur. The Bear festival will feature up to 30 stands with hundreds of teddy bears; ranging from vintage and traditional to artist and designer bears; handcrafted by top national, international and local bear artists, with many from Cornwall & Devon. Local specialist bear shop, Urchins Bears from Tintagel, along with Kingswear Bears will have superb stocks of new well-known, international trademark bears, including Steiff and Charlie Bears, to woo & delight you.. The fair will take place between 10:30am and 3:30pm; with an entrance fee of £1.00 for adults, and accompanied children under the age of 16 admitted for free.
