Held by right of king Stephens charter granted in 1136
Fairs are always the same date every year 24th August 17th September unless the date falls on a Sunday and it rolls to a Monday fair

The field is now clear and back to how we found it, it was very hectic today with a few teething problems which we expected with a new site and will hopefully be rectified for the next fair in 3weeks
