A few things to take into consideration tonight!

PET OWNERS:
Fireworks will be let off Bottom Park at 7pm tonight. Please make sure your pet is inside and safe. Display will last around 20 minutes.

DOG WALKERS:
The bridge into Wildlife garden will be shut at 5.30 pm to preserve security around bonfire.

BONFIRE:
will be monitored overnight after damping down but please be aware it might still be hot tomorrow so ensure care is taken and pets are on a lead when in the vicinity.

RESPECTFUL
Please help us keep the village roads clear for residents and especially “ emergency vehicles “
by parking in the car park at the top of Dunreggan (it is clearly signposted). We have, in the past, had issues with visitors parking on the roads and blocking them. Cones will be out front of Dalmacallan view and there is to be NO parking here - it is a drop-off point for those unable to walk down to the site and for gala equipment.

Moniaive Gala Committee apologise for any inconvenience. We hope a timed one-off display will help stop fireworks being set off privately. We look forward to seeing you tonight. ❤️

🎆 Bonfire Night Traffic & Parking Update 🎆

Moniaive Bonfire & Firework display

Saturday 8th November

We ask that all people travelling to this event, arrive in good time to find a safe, designated parking space. Please car share where possible.

Those from Moniaive, we kindly ask that you either leave your cars at home or park in the village and travel by foot.

Of course it is absolutely ok to drop off at the park entrance for those needing it, but we then request you continue to find a suitable parking spot and walk back.

To keep everyone safe on Bonfire Night, one side of Dunreggan will be kept completely clear for emergency vehicle access.
🚫 Please don’t park on the marked (coned) side of the road.

With just over a week to go, here’s a few reminders for those coming/ travelling for our bonfire & Firework display.

This is a community event run and set up by our fabulous volunteers. To make it work and safe for everyone we need to ensure that the road into the village does not get blocked/ filled with parked cars to ensure safe access to the village.

We would Urge anyone driving to consider car sharing and to set off in plenty of time to allow
Safe parking to be found.
At the bottom of Dunreggan to the right we have a small community car park, we will have stewards around providing directions and guidance. It is possible to stop and drop
Off before moving on to find safe parking. It’s a short walk back from the car park.

There will be hotdogs and soup available, all we ask is for a donation, this is a free event, all moneys raised go back into community events and towards next years fireworks!
On that note, please remember to bring cash,
We cannot do this without your donations and our wonderful team of volunteers.

Just over one week to go til Our Bonfire and fireworks display 🎆🎇🔥

The bonfire is starting to take shape but has some way to go 🪵🪾

Unfortunately, this year we don’t have a van or trailer
To collect for the bonfire , but on Sunday, a few committe members will try and get some stuff in the boot of their cars, so if you have anything you want taking away, send us a message or drop us a comment on here and we’ll try our best to collect on Sunday.

Next order of business, we’re looking for some support with traffic management, if anyone is available for steward duties then send us a message!!
