The countdown is on to the Spirit of Tenterden Festival 2026, and there's plenty to look forward to across all three days. Join us from 3–5 July 2026 at Tenterden Recreation Ground for a weekend of live music, a Makers Market, street food, a Festival Bar, arena entertainment, a Dog Show, free children's activities and much more. The festival runs from 2pm–10pm on Friday, 10am–10pm on Saturday and 11am–5pm on Sunday. Best of all, entry is completely free all weekend.
We've already started revealing some of what's in store, and there's still more to come. Over the next few weeks we'll be sharing the final music line-up, more children's activities, stallholder highlights, food and drink traders, entertainment, and the latest festival updates.
The Festival Bar will be serving a range of drinks throughout the weekend, while the Live Music Stage will feature talented local musicians and bands. The Makers Market will be packed with local makers, artists and businesses, and you'll find plenty of street food, cakes, desserts and ice cream to enjoy while you explore. Families can look forward to a wide range of free children's activities and entertainment across the site, alongside arena displays and attractions throughout the weekend.
There will be seating available around the festival ground, with tables, benches and chairs provided throughout the site, along with free Wi-Fi to help you stay connected and share your festival moments. If you'd like to settle in for the music, entertainment and arena attractions, feel free to bring a picnic rug or folding chairs and make yourself comfortable for the day.
If you're visiting by car, please use the town centre car parks. Better still, if you're local, come by bus or enjoy a walk into town. The small car park in Recreation Ground Road will be reserved for Blue Badge holders. Blue Badge parking is free for up to three hours, with normal charges applying for longer stays.
The festival would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, grant funders and supporters. A special thank you to our Premier Sponsors – The Brissenden Trust, Ashford Borough Council, Tenterden Town Council, Lightning Fibre, and Wilson Wilson & Hancock – together with all the businesses, organisations and individuals whose support helps make the festival possible. You can see the full list of sponsors, funders and supporters at www.spiritoftenterden.co.uk/sponsors.html.
Make sure you're following this page, invite your friends, and keep an eye out for regular updates as we count down to festival weekend. Will we see you there?
