Five years of RipTide 🩵
We’ve built something that now feels like it stands alone, cannot be claimed & belongs to everyone.
Hearing people talk about the positive experiences they have in this little three day community is always a real pleasure. We pride ourselves on our hospitality, and to be told this year, by two of our headliners that it’s been their favourite festival of the summer, makes us immensley proud of RipTide.
Underneath the festivities though, the delivery of this event, does also take a huge physical and mental toll. We’re not a corporate team , we’re just a few people who love it, and although success has grown, so has the weight and responsibility. At the stages we’re all at in our lives, means it’s not something to be taken for granted.
We need to say our thank yous now, to our very special audience whos energy has never faulted in 5 years, our crew of artists and engineers for doing what they do so well and bringing it here, our own little castle team for their immense graft on top of a busy season, our What If team for their support, creative input and pinch of magic and finally the Manorbier locality for accepting and embracing this event for another year.
Time for a welcomed change of pace in Manorbier now as the seasons change and the dust settles.
