It's definetly getting colder as the year comes to an end! But that doesn't stop our four legged friend!

Last weekend we had the lovely Daria Kot - Reconnect with Nature hosting a mushroom walk around the grounds of Abbey Manor!

It is a pleasure to have Daria as always, and we have more planned with Daria in the new year too - watch this space!

Now this is something different!

While pottering about in his spare time, the owner Darren found this board from 1904!

The writing appears to be from traders who worked on Abbey Manor with the names W. Lewis & E. Lawley from the 4th November 1904, who appear to be from Bridgnorth.

Did any of you who joined us for our Apple Day get a look at our Millennium Apple Press in action?

Although we had fewer apples compared to last year, we certainly had enough to get a few presses done during the day, including some with the public too!

Nothing better than freshly pressed apple juice 🍎🍏

We are still looking back at the Apple Day two weeks ago - who had a chance to visit the c***r bar and have a taste of the homemade c***r from the previous years press?

It certainly was a huge hit this year - and we are already starting the process of making the c***r using the apples from the press we did at our Apple Day two weeks ago!

Watch this space - our c***r bar will be making an earlier return next year in the summer too.
