A before-and-after shot for you today!

The before shot was taken in 2025 - and has been something we have been trying to get right for a while. Now to today - and look at the amazing job our volunteers did at this! You can actually see the path again!

We are so thankful to anyone who comes here to help maintain our grounds. We still have a bit to go, but we are determined to make sure Abbey Manor is back to its full glory.

Did you know we don't just get big creatures here at Abbey Manor, like our resident pooch, or deer passing through, but we also get plenty of small insects too!

What you’re seeing across that hillside are hundreds of sheet webs, likely created by spiders in the Linyphiidae family, commonly known as sheet-web weavers or money spiders.

Some fascinating stuff! This was taken a while back on our nature walk, but we hope to see a reappearance of them soon.
