IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
It is with real sadness that we have decided to cancel the Wrekin Relay Challenge this year. Entrants will receive a full refund as soon as the process is completed. The number of entries received are just 13 teams and 7 solos. After much discussion we have come to the conclusion this isn’t viable. Apart from the all the practical and financial implications, it also felt that with such low numbers, spread around a challenging (albeit fun and beautiful) route, it would have felt a lonely 3.8 mile lap with more marshals than competitors. The last event we held had 67 teams and about 15 solo runners, so you can imagine the fantastic atmosphere! We are now looking at putting the event on next year and are hoping for Saturday 13th July at 2pm (Saturday afternoon had been our previous chosen day of the week!). We will contact you with details when it’s been finalised and hope very much that you will join us. We have had fantastic feedback from previous years and so hope to recreate this fun team event!
