We're excited to share with you our dream team of local writing talent who will be leading our creative writing programme this autumn. ✍🏻

Bea Roberts, the award-winning West Country playwright who currently writes for BBC EastEnders, leads both Writing for Soap Operas (19 September) and Writing for the Stage (14 November).

Elizabeth Delo, whose debut novel Becoming Liz Taylor won an international prize, runs our four-week Start to Write Your Novel course from 23 September, as well as our relaxed drop-in Blank Page Club.

Local crime writer Jo Middleton, author of Happy Bloody Christmas, has crafted the cold case dossiers behind our Friday Murder Club nights, as well as leading our Ideas Lab, Flash Fiction Masterclass, Edit Like a Pro, and Character First sessions running through September to November.

Rewoven is our upcoming arts festival celebrating textiles and craftmanship, exploring the stories stitched and woven into materials.

Running throughout the festival is the collaborative stitching exhibition, ‘Small Beginnings, Great Expectations’ with ‘The Lost Jackets’. Bringing together a community of makers, three drop-in sessions, as well as expertly run creative workshops that encourage visitors to learn about and experience the artistic craft of textiles! 👕
