Swan Samba

Swan Samba Samba fusion based in Hants (UK), promoting unity and wellbeing through drumming. They have also been featured on radio stations such as Voice FM.

Swan Samba are a drumming and movement group open to ages 11+ and all abilities, run via Roynon Performing Arts, a school established for 40 years. Workshops are held for all ages and abilities to learn new and exciting drum and performance skills every Tuesday term time. The drumming band plays a fusion of samba styles and have gigged at local carnivals such as Romsey and Hedge End, as well as exciting events such as Winchester’s Hatfair and Wickham Festival. Swan Samba can be found on all relevant social media streams and all enquiries are very welcome, whether it’s to try out in the band, set workshops in schools, or to pencil in future performance opportunities. 🥁 RIGHT THEN WINCHESTER… THIS ONE’S A BIT SPECIAL

▫️Samba Doc are rolling into town and we’ve somehow managed to get them to stop off on our patch! 😂🔥

▪️On Sunday 27th September, 10:30am–12pm, we’re heading to the Great Hall to make a serious Sunday morning racket with these guys as part of their tour.

▫️They’re coming to make friends, groove with us, share some tunes and raise money for their charities♥️

▪️And we’re not gonna lie… we’re pretty bloody excited about it.

🤌🏼 FREE GIG. GREAT HALL. LOADS OF DRUMS. LOCAL TURF.

▫️What more do you actually need on a Sunday morning?

▪️So grab a coffee, drag yourself into Wi******er, bring the kids, bring your mates, bring the neighbour who’s a royal pain in the ass and come show Samba Doc some Hants love. 🫶🏼

▫️We’re heading back to Music in the City and this time we’re taking over the old Toys R Us site. ✌🏼

▪️A derelict car park, big city vibes, plenty of noise and a whole load vibe. Sounds like proper fun. 🔥
