It will come as no surprise to anyone that this month's KG52 is cancelled.
As soon as we get the word from the gvt that it is safe to do so, we will restart the monthly event.
Until that time, wishing you all a healthy April - stay safe everyone

Why not come and join us at 9am at King George's playing field for our monthly 5k run/walk/cartwheel/whatever?
It's gonna be a little (lottle!) muddy - but that's half the fun....isn't it??

In case one 5k run a month is not enough, you're in luck! This Saturday there is the fabulous Xmas pudding run at Durlston.
2k for little ones & 5k for adults. 9:30 registration. Details and cost on Durlston event page 👍

Get yer antlers and Santa hats down from the loft - it's time to get festive for this Saturday's KG5K!
Not compulsory of course, but who doesn't love to rock a crimbo look at this time of the year!
9am start at King George's. Doesn't matter if you walk, skip or cartwheel round the course - you'll be very welcome (and you can justify spending the rest of the day quaffing mulled wine and mince pies at the Victorian Street Market!)

Just in case any ultra keen runners were thinking of heading out to Poole or Upton Park run, they too have made the decision to cancel due to extreme weather conditions.

It is with deep regret that we have to cancel tomorrow's KG5K.
The wind is predicted to reach an unprecedented 80mph at 9am, and the feeling is that it could represent a danger to people.
Should the wind speed be downgraded, there will be an opportunity to do a 1k run (it's seriously not cos we all want to stay at home and watch the rugby - honest!)
