Lords, Ladies, gentleman and all you other folk not sitting on a cushion!!
As many of you already know I lost my Mum nearly 2 years ago when she lost her battle with cancer.
What many of you won’t know was that many years ago she always said that if she ever got cancer and had to go through chemo, she would like a new wig as she hated her hair.
She hated that she it was really fine, that was like straw. Crazy really because over my lifetime alone, she spent hundreds if not thousands of pounds on hair products, ‘rollers’ and having stylists often travelling the length of the country to visit stylists she liked. She regularly would travel from Cumbria to Bath, to the amusement of friends and family!!
I did say to her at the time, maybe I should grow my hair and donate it for a wig, we laughed about it at the time, but now I feel I should make this into a reality. So now is the time.
My hair hasn’t been cut since before Christmas and I aim to get it cut in July. I need a minimum of 10 inches for it to be accepted. It cannot be coloured and needs to natural. My hair is naturally dead straight so I’m sure it will be perfect for someone.
Many people will know I love my hair, even though I have inherited the fineness. I don’t spend any money on it apart from going to the hairdressers when I have to (usually twice a year)!
I hate asking for money, especially as I know many people are struggling at the moment, but if you can afford just £1, it all counts. Please donate if you can.
