We know that school's out for summer at the moment, but the stage awaits 👀

We’re over the moon to announce StourJam's brand-new 'Battle of the Bands' series - a high-energy celebration of young talent across the West Midlands, all building towards our festival next year.

With schools and colleges already booked for their own heats this Winter and early next year, we’re now opening the stage to independent solo acts, duos, trios, bands, and creatives of every kind & any genre🎤

Heats will take place in Stourport, across venues that are part of next year’s StourJam (to be revealed). TWO finalists from each heat will compete in the Grand Final showdown 🏆

The ultimate winner earns a prestigious slot at StourJam 2026 - plus serious bragging rights + more 😍

🚀 Open to ages between 11-21
📍 ALL genres welcome
🎶 Dates dropping soon for public heats.
🎧 Applications open Wednesday, 6th August at 6:30pm.

We're absolutely thrilled to be the chosen organisation for The Hollybush's Quiz Night over the coming months!

It's a fantastic opportunity to bring people together and raise money for StourJam's chosen charities - Dementia UK, Canal & River Trust, and Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity: The Children of Worcestershire Cancer Fund. Every penny goes towards making a real difference 🩵

Get your thinking caps on for an 8pm start this evening (it's every fortnight), in teams of up to 6 people, only £1 per player 💜

🎶 We’re excited to reveal the three incredible charities we’ll be supporting at StourJam 2026 – our first-ever not-for-profit music festival! 🎶

As we fill the town with music, community spirit, and good vibes, we’ll also be raising money for three causes that truly matter:

💧 Canal & River Trust – celebrating and supporting the waterways that help shape Stourport-on-Severn.
🧠 Dementia UK – because, sadly, so many of us know someone affected, and their support is life-changing.
🌟 In aid of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity: The Children of Worcestershire and Herefordshire Cancer Fund – who help young patients and their families across the two counties through the toughest of times.

Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be shining a spotlight on each of these brilliant causes, allowing us all to learn more about the vital work they do – and exactly how your support at StourJam will help🩵
