The Potteries Shopping Centre is about to go out of this world as it plays host to Comic Con this Saturday & Sunday!

The FREE event takes place on Level 5 and Level 4 of the shopping centre. Level 5 between HMV and the old Game store will be taken over by traders selling all kinds of merchandise from Anime to Zombies!
The former Game store will have Retro Gaming on freeplay and a Battlebots Mini Arena to try out.
Level 4 near Lush is our new Cosplay area with 6 Backdrops & Props to get your pictures.
Bumblebee from Cheshire Transformers who will be appearing throughout each day and there will be a "Bee" Display stand to try on Helmets and more!
Staffordshire Tardis has materialised for the weekend for you to get your picture with - check out all the cast autographs inside and don't forget they are raising money for The Donna Louise Trust, so please donate if you can - it all helps.
Our old "Dottie" the Dalek is back for pictures.
U.S.S. Mitchell Stokes local Star Trek Group Display table - pop over and chat all things "Trek"......and at 2.30pm on both days there will be a Cosplay Competition for any budding superhero, princess or villain with prizes so grab your outfit and head down to the Potteries Centre.

Let's not forget every hour, visitors can get their photo taken with fan favourite Mascot characters as they make timed appearances.

Our first Hanley event of 2026!
Hanley Comic Con will, once again, take place in The Potteries Shopping Centre on both Level 4 (just past Lush) and Level 5 (HMV to old Game).
*Yes. we'll have Timed Mascot Meets every hour.
*Yes, we'll have Props and Backdrops to get a photo with.
*Yes, we'll have wandering characters to get photo's with.
*Yes, we will have our Cosplay Competitions with prizes to be won.
*Yes, we will see the return of the Retro Gaming on Free Play.
*Yes, we'll have the fabulous stalls of Geeky goodness to shop at.....and maybe a surprise or two - watch this page for updates.

We know it's been a miserable month so far but not to worry........

Our sister event.........

Ellesmere Port Comic Con is back this Saturday 31st January inside Port Arcades Shopping Centre 10am-4pm.

Please share it on your socials, tell your friends, your family, the postman, invite everyone - it's still a free entry event so that means everyone can come!

Our Geeky Market with it's great merchandise stalls will be back with regular favourites and new stalls - all with plenty of bargains for those collectors out there.

There will be 6 timed "Meet & Greets" with our Mascots.

10am: Winnie the Pooh
11am: Mario & Yoshi
12pm: Hello Kitty
Ipm: TMNT Raphael
2pm: Pikachu
3pm Teen Titans

Come and get pictures with them - there is no charge!

There will also be wandering characters to pose and get your photo's with throughout the day including Star Wars and Star Trek.

There will be Backdrops/Props to pose for a picture with.

Our popular Cosplay Competitions will be at 2.30pm - dress as your favourite character........with prizes to be won!

Free Entry Event in the Octagon Hall, Pavilion Gardens, Buxton, 10am - 4pm.
