Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank at Kidsgrove

St Thomasโ€™ Church is home to one of six centres for the Newcastle-Staffs Foodbank, which has been operating since 2012. As part of the Trussell Trust foodbank network, we aim to feed those in need in the borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme in North Staffordshire. As well as Kidsgrove, there are Foodbank centres in Chesterton, Clayton, Madeley, Newcastle town centre and Silverdale.

The Kidsgrove foodbank centre is open from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Friday afternoons in the Church Hall. If you or someone you know need help from the Foodbank, then please call the Foodbank on 07519 159061. Alternatively, please call in when weโ€™re open and we can point you in the right direction.

Kidsgrove Remembrance Parade
The Annual Remembrance Day Parade will be taking place Sunday 9th November.
You are invited to gather at the Victoria Hall between 10.00am and 10.30am. Then to commence the march down to the Memorial Gardens. There will be a road closure in place along Liverpool Road and First Avenue whilst the parade is in progress.
Various organisations will be laying wreaths at the cenotaph, followed by a service at St Thomasโ€™ Church.
We would like to thank Kidsgrove & Districts Royal British Legion for all their help involved in making preparations for the day.
We hope you will be able to attend, and pay respect to those who served our Country. We look forward to seeing you there.
We will remember them.
