Superstar Callum that has helped out the Festival 👏🏽

Shape The Play

🌟 Meet Callum! (if you haven't already!)🌟

We were doing some number crunching yesterday as part of our impact and evaluation work, and Jordan discovered something pretty amazing – since day one, Callum has taken part in at least 785 hours of Shape The Play sessions! 🙌

And that’s not even counting all the extra activities – from trips to Peat Rigg to big community events like Eid Fusion Festival – where Callum has been right there getting involved and helping out.

Over that time, we’d like to think we’ve made a positive difference for Callum – but truthfully, he’s made just as big a difference to us. Always supportive, encouraging of others, and bringing plenty of positivity (with the odd cheeky moment thrown in!).

On top of all this, Callum also gives his time every week volunteering with Norton Clean Up Your Act, putting in huge effort to make his community better. 👏

He should be really proud of himself – we know his family and friends certainly are – and so are we! 💙

(…Now if only we could stop him blasting the ball into orbit mid-match, before the match and after the match! 😂⚽️)

Let’s take a moment to reflect on this year’s Eid Fusion Festival…

It was a wonderful celebration of the event’s 10th anniversary on a beautiful, sunny day. The community came together to enjoy the entertainment, activities, food, and stalls! 🫶🏽

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing team of dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event a success. 👏🏽

We also want to express our deepest gratitude to all the businesses and organisations who were part of this special day. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏾
