Well where do we start? What a day we had for the 5th Stockport Daffodil 10k🌼. The rain eased and it was probably the warmest one yet (it is January!)
A huge THANK YOU to all who took part. To all who helped in the weeks leading up the event (however you helped. You know who you are). To all our fabulous marshals on the day. We really couldn’t do any of this without you 💙🧡
It doesn’t matter what time it took you. We all run the same distance and get the same medal. It’s not the time it took, it’s the time you had.

Sorry. Lengthy post🌼
Where do we start? What a fabulous morning for the 4th Stockport Daffodil 10k. A very cold beginning. Great running weather. No so good for the marshals (more about them later)
We absolutely love putting this event on. Lots of hard work behind the scenes (Think swan gliding on a lake and paddling furiously below the water) makes it all worthwhile when you see it all come together.
Congratulations everyone who took part. However long it took. 10k is 10k. You all ran the same distance for the same medal. Thank you for joining us.
And a huge thank you to our fabulous marshals who we couldn’t really do without. You are all superstars and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. However you’ve helped. Today or in the last week getting it all together 💙
