We’ve had a few questions about parking arrangements for Stockbridge Trout ’n’ About 2026 (on Sunday, August 2)…

So here’s a quick guide to help you plan your visit.

As everyone knows, Stockbridge has one road in and one road out, so our biggest piece of advice is simple: Arrive early!

The High Street will be closed from 8am to 5pm. ⛔️

There will be two car parks on the day, one at each end of town. 🅿️

Both have a single entrance – so please be patient. 😊

The car parks will be clearly signposted. They are…

🚗 Car Park East, by Old London Road, off the A30

📍 What3Words: ///cries.locked.solids

There will be a shuttle service, from this car park to the High Street, run by the fabulous King Alfred buses.

♿ Disabled parking for Blue Badge holders on the east side of town will be at the doctors’ surgery on New Street

📍 What3Words: ///magazine.modes.genius

🚗 Car Park West is at Danebury School, off the A30

📍 What3Words ///quest.wheat.zeal

There is a five-minute walk into town.

♿ Disabled parking for Blue Badge holders on the west of town will be opposite Danebury School, off the A30

📍 What3Words: barn.shock.replenish

There will be a shuttle minibus service to the High Street, for disabled people, run by our friends from Embley School.

Both main car parks will include clearly marked drop-off zones near their entrances.

This year’s parking charge will be £10 per vehicle, which is in line with other Hampshire fairs of a similar size.

Trout ‘n’ About is a non-profit organisation. Every penny we make goes to good causes in and around Stockbridge.

Last year we gave £10,000 to local schools, churches, playgrounds, allotments and other community groups.

This year we hope to give even more.

And remember… Trout ’n’ About is run entirely by volunteers. If you’d like to help us stage this great community event, we’d love to hear from you.

Just send us a message if you have any questions.

Thank you for your support – and we look forward to welcoming you on August 2 😎

🎉 Make a date for… STOCKBRIDGE TROUT ‘N’ ABOUT 2026… Sunday, August 2 🎉

This summer we will be celebrating 20 years of Hampshire’s favourite food, drink and craft festival! 🐟✨

What started in 2007 with a handful of stalls on one side of Stockbridge High Street has grown into one of the premier food and drink fairs in this part of England.

We have…

📍 More than 150 incredible local traders
📍 More than 10,000 visitors every year
📍 A traffic-free High Street packed with food, crafts, music and community spirit
📍 Festival Field entertainment for all ages
📍 A fair that is run entirely by local volunteers

From brewers to bakers, blacksmiths to florists, jewellers to butchers… T‘n’A is a true celebration of the best food, drink and craftsmanship Hampshire has to offer. 🍻🧀🥖🌿

And every visit helps support local good causes. Since 2012, T‘n’A has donated more than £70,000 to local schools, charities, churches and community groups ❤️

We’ll be donating another £10,000 this year.

And for our 20th anniversary year, we’re making your visit even easier with new parking and payment facilities to help everyone enjoy the day smoothly.

A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors, volunteers, traders and visitors. T’n’A simply wouldn’t happen without you!

📣 😊 We have selected our High Street traders for Trout ‘n’ About 2026! 😊 📣

Thank you to everyone who applied for a pitch.

We were genuinely touched by the number of local producers, artisans and craftsmen and women who want to be part of the day.

For us, it was a proper reminder of just how special and supportive the community is in our beautiful corner of Hampshire.

📢 All applicants have now been contacted, so please check your emails 📩

Congratulations to the traders who have been awarded a pitch.

Thank you for your enthusiasm – and for your willingness to help us celebrate everything that makes Stockbridge and the Test Valley so unique.

📣 We’ve had almost 200 applications from local traders eager to set up pitch on Stockbridge High Street, on Sunday August 2.

But we still want to hear from more of Hampshire’s finest makers, producers, crafters and foodies. Applications close on March 31.

📢 We’re also looking for volunteers who love Stockbridge - and have the skills to help us, on our organising committee.

😎 Stockbridge High Street will come alive again this summer for our much-loved annual Trout ‘n’ About Food & Craft Festival.

😎 More than 10,000 visitors joined us last year to celebrate the very best of high-quality Hampshire produce, artisan crafts and community spirit.

😎 And together we raised an incredible £10,000 for local good causes.

Now, for T’n’A 2026 (Sunday, August 2)…

✨Trader applications are open!✨

✨If you’re a talented local producer, maker or food trader, and you’d love a stall at one of the region’s most popular summer fayres, go to our website (link in the biog) and fill in an application form.

✨Spaces are limited… and they always fill up quickly!

🤝 Could you help run Trout ‘n’ About? 🤝

🤝 We’re also looking for skilled local volunteers to join our friendly organising committee.

🤝 Particularly people who could help co-ordinate traders and manage our High Street operation.

🤝 It’s a wonderful way to give back, meet new people and play a key role in something that truly benefits Stockbridge and surrounding villages.

🤝 Why not drop us a line via our website (link in the biog)? Or email: [email protected]

🚗 A quick word about parking at Trout n’ About…

First of all – thank you to everyone who came along yesterday!

We know parking wasn’t easy.

Despite extra spaces (thank you Danebury School 🙏) and professional traffic managers, the sheer number of visitors meant long queues for many of you.

We’re genuinely sorry for the inconvenience and really appreciate your patience. 💛

But there’s something important we’d like to share...

Parking at Tn’A costs £5 – and every penny of that goes straight to local good causes: schools, community groups, churches and charities.

We're grateful for the generosity of local famers who kindly allow us to use their fields.

Trout n’ About is a not-for-profit event, run entirely by volunteers.

After covering our costs, everything we raise goes back into the community.

Every car that bypasses the official parking not only adds to the congestion – it means less funding for those who rely on us.

We’re working hard to improve things – and we're so grateful to everyone who parked considerately and supports what Tn’A is really all about 💚

Thank you for sticking with us. We hope you had a brilliant day, queues and all!
