We were sad to learn of the passing of Tom Willis, one of our basses in the choir last Sunday.

Tom was an enthusiastic member of the choir who would always make time to talk about how he loved the music we were singing. Below was one of his favourites from our Bastille Day concert in 2018, “Somewhere in France With You”, a moving song depicting a mother writing a letter to her son fighting in France in the Great War.

It is with sadness that due to falling numbers in members that the choir has no choice but to fold.

I have been privileged to lead the choir for 7 years and have had a blast doing it - we have created some wonderful musical memories which I’ll post up periodically.

Thank you to everyone in Stock who came along to our concerts and supported us in our concerts, from packed village halls to cold churches, we always had terrific support from our audiences.

Thank you to our choir members and commitee who always worked tirelessly to make sure the concerts and general running of the choir were a great success

Merry Christmas to all the choir, audience and supporters we have had in 2022. We were able to put on two fabulous concerts. Some of our supporting musicians from our summer concert put together a little Christmas number to see out the year…hope you all enjoy!

Thank you to everyone who turned up for our Premiere of A Christmas Carol.

It is a special piece of music to me, made so much better by the number of friends who turned up to support me by singing or attending the concert.

Thanks to the choir, the Kingfisher String Quartet, Peter Quintrell and Will Potten for their outstanding contributions to the work
