We have two signposted fields for parking - thanks to local landowners - plus disabled parking BUT all parking is at your own risk and please do not leave dogs or anyone in your cars

Game 3: leaky cup game
Players in teams take it in turns to fill a leaky cup and run to the other side to fill their bucket

Prize: team with the most water in the bucket gets to tip that bucket over the vicar 🤣

Game 2: Apple Bob relay
Again 2 or 4 teams players take in turns to run, bob for an Apple and return it to their team
Prize: sweets for winning team

‘Staplefield H2-OH! Show arena at 1:30pm
3 games which anyone can participate in:
Game 1: Over under sponge game (2 or 4 teams)
Prize sweets for the winners

The Staplefield fete and car show will still go ahead with ice cream vans, cool drinks, beer tent, Pimms and water games to replace the dog show.

Apologies to everyone who was looking forward to the Staplefield Dog show 2026 but the forecast heatwave means we have to cancel on welfare grounds.
Thanks to our key sponsor, Cuckfield Pet & Country Store, who has kindly offered to hold the prizes for 2027. And to our judges Enriched Dog Training who will come back to judge next year and hold their planned doggy demo.
