Phoenix Striders Summer Series Round 4 – 15th August 2023, Langdon Nature Discovery Centre
Important Update
Dear volunteers and participants, we have been informed by the Langdon Discovery Centre Management that they have major staffing issues today and are unable to open the centre this evening.
This means that there are no toilet of refreshment facilities.
Given the late notice, we will do our utmost to continue to provide the run.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding

Unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic and uncertainty about whether the EWT centre will be open and whether events will be sanctioned by that date we will NOT be holding the SLH 10k or 5k in 2020.

We have not taken this decision lightly, but the health of the running community, their friends, relations and our volunteers takes priority.

So we hope to see you next year for the 2021 SLH 10k and 5k.

For those following this post, there are lots of pictures of our trail run 'One Tree "Hell" 10K' on the page Phoenix Striders - One Tree 'Hell' 10K. The weather beforehand was very wet, but the rain stopped about 15 minutes before the start and held off for the entire race and clear up so the fruit and chocolate didn't get wet!

Please have a look and feel free to comment about how amazing the runners and volunteers were to make it such a success.

With 4 weeks to go until the inaugural 'One Tree Hell 10k' (29.9.2019) this is the final course for anyone who wants to give it a little trot out.
We have agreement to remove the bars from the stile so it will be a walk through rather than a climb over.
A range of hot and cold drinks and refreshments will be on sale next to registration so don't forget some money to treat yourself at the end!
