Mel, Jon and Guide Dog Peter zoomed around the country on some trains last night all the way to Whitchurch for the Poetry Whitchurch Slam organised by Poetry Whitchurch Helen Kay!

It was a lovely night and well done to all who took part! Mel was knocked out in the first round and Jon came a very respectable 4th altogether!

We held our last WORD Stafford night on 10/6/24 on Zoom and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended, and everyone who has taken part and supported WORD Stafford over the last seven years, whether at the Bird in Hand pub, Stafford Library, Geek Retreat, online, and at various festivals!

It has been a lovely experience to see so many people taking part in, or just listening, watching and enjoying poetry! 📖🎤❤️📝
