REFLECTING ON AN AMAZING WEEKEND!

Now the dust has settled and life has started to go back to normal for our volunteers, we'd just like to reflect on an amazing 'coming together' of our community.

Those who sponsored, donated or bought tickets made all of this possible - and we're very grateful that you did!

We found ourselves in the fantastic position of having to stop sales due to record-breaking demand!

As you may know, this is a long standing Scout event - but it was able to return last year as a result of partnering with one of Doncaster's older institutions, Doncaster Round Table No7 - which will turn 100 years old in 2028!

Doncaster Round Table dedicated a huge amount of time in the days, weeks and months leading up to the event.

Giving back is just a part of a rich list of experences and activities they take part in, and although the club is thriving, they are on the search for new members to ensure their continued strength in the years ahead - hoping to make it to 200 years and beyond!

As our event approaches, we would kindly ask that, where possible, visitors travel on foot.

During the day we require Melton Road, Cadeby and new Lane to be free from parked cars for the safety of the runners.

In the evening Party in Park - Please be considerate of local residents and avoid parking on surrounding residential streets. The roads around the venue are home to local families, and we want to ensure we remain respectful of our neighbours.

If you do need to drive, please park courteously and responsibly. There are limited parking spaces available at county club/ Copley School so we encourage car sharing where possible.

Thank you for your cooperation and support – we look forward to seeing you all at the event!

A big thank you to Sainsbury's for kindly providing bottled water for our charity road race. 💧

Your support helps us keep runners, volunteers and everyone taking part hydrated on the day, and we really appreciate you getting behind the event.

BUYING TICKETS FROM A 3rd PARTY

If you are thinking about buying tickets from a third party, please make sure you are purchasing from a reliable person, ideally someone you know and trust. As a village event you are likely to know the person selling or know someone that knows them.

If you do not recognise the person selling the tickets, please contact us before making any payment and we will do our best to verify whether the tickets are genuine.

Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for tickets purchased from unofficial sources.

All tickets have now been sold.

Please do not contact us or any of our volunteers to ask if any more tickets are available, as there will be no additional tickets released. There will also be no tickets available to purchase on the gate on the day of the event.

We are sorry if you have missed out this year, but we look forward to welcoming everyone who has secured a ticket and hope to see others at future events.
