Only just over a month away to the festival where there will be a celebration of creativity, diversity, and imagination where artists from Palgrave and surrounding areas can gather to showcase their talent and inspire others.

Whether a lover of music, dance, theatre or visual arts, we hope there will be something for everyone.

In addition to live music performances, we also have a range of workshops, talks, and exhibitions for everyone to enjoy, where you can learn new skills, explore different art forms, and connect with other like-minded individuals.

Our festival will not just be about entertainment, it is going to be about connecting a community of artists and art enthusiasts and residents who value creativity and self-expression. It’s also more than just an event; it’s a testament to the power of art and its positive impact on individuals and communities.

As you can see from the attached flyer, the Arts Festival will serve as a unique platform that seamlessly integrates art, well-being, community, and education.

All details of how to book are in the brochure or you could follow the link below:

Pop up Concert at St Peter's Church, Palgrave

Calling Palgrave’s hidden talent ….

Can you play Bah-Bah Black Sheep on the recorder; ‘Cats’ on the cornet or Mozart on a melodion? Are you a budding poet or just like reading poetry? Can you sing a folk song or a Handel aria? Don’t hide your light under a bushel – Palgrave Arts Festival wants to hear from you.

There will be an evening of short, informal and – if necessary – impromptu performances of whatever anyone would like to bring to the event. No need to be shy; the audience may not be large but it will be fun.

So whatever your repertoire and whatever your skill level, make it your plan to be there on Monday 9th October during the inaugural Palgrave Arts Festival. If you think you can contribute, even if hesitant, please contact Hugh Bunbury 643635 or email [email protected]

The Festival is still over 6 months away but our planning is carrying on at pace. We are keen to offer opportunities for everyone during the nine days, either to sit and enjoy or to watch and have a go. The programme for the Festival should be entertaining, ambitious and impressive with all activities led by local crafts people, musicians and wordsmiths. Keep an eye on this FB page over the next few weeks as more details are announced.

If you want to be involved in any way then please just email us [email protected]
We are looking for participants, helpers and sponsors. We even need a Treasurer! It’s going to be a great Palgrave Community event so do please come and be part of it!

Planning has started for an exciting new venture to celebrate the diverse and vibrant arts that can be found in and around Palgrave. The Arts Festival’s intention is to put on an ambitious programme of high quality events, working with organisations and individuals in the area.

From bell ringing to acting and from painting to photography (not to mention music, poetry, calligraphy and pottery) it is our intention to offer activities and events for everyone. More details will be forthcoming over the next few weeks but in the meantime keep an eye out here and on our Instagram pages.

We need your help in making this as successful as possible so, if you would like to put your name forward as a participant or to be involved in organising events, please email Andrew Wheeler at [email protected]
