WOW… what a day! 🌭🐾❤️

We just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the very first Southwold Sausage Festival such an incredible success. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better first event, the turnout was amazing, and seeing so many happy faces (both human and canine!) made all the hard work worthwhile.

A massive thank you to Old Hall, Southwold Old Hall Southwold Cafe & Walks for hosting us. What a beautiful venue, and what a fantastic team to work with from start to finish.

To all of our wonderful stall holders and traders, thank you for bringing such a fantastic variety to the festival and helping to create such a brilliant atmosphere.

A special thank you to our amazing photographers for capturing so many wonderful memories of the day, and an extra special shout-out to the incredibly talented Jake Olsen from . This video captures the spirit of the day perfectly, and we’re so grateful for the memories you’ve created for us all. 🎥🐶

A huge thank you to our brilliant car park attendants who kept everything running so smoothly throughout the day, your hard work didn’t go unnoticed.

And I have to give the biggest shout-out to my incredible Southwold Sausage Walk team of ladies. 💕 Thank you for all your hard work, for helping everything run so smoothly, and most importantly… for stopping me from completely losing my mind! 😆 I honestly couldn’t have done it without you all.

Finally… thank YOU to every single person who came along and supported our summer event. It was wonderful to see so many responsible dog owners making sure their pups stayed cool and comfortable throughout the day. Your support means the world to us.

Would you love to see the Southwold Sausage Festival become an annual summer event? ☀️🌭🐾

Don’t worry, our much-loved October Walk isn’t going anywhere! We’d simply love to add this as another event for everyone to enjoy each summer.

The wait is almost over… the Southwold Sausage Festival is TOMORROW! 🌭

Join us from 9:30am at Old Hall, Southwold Old Hall Southwold Cafe & Walks for a fantastic day celebrating great food, great stalls, live entertainment and, of course, plenty of wonderful doggos! 🐕

🎟️ This is a ticketed event only.
🚫 No entry without a valid ticket.
⏰ Limited tickets are available until midnight tonight – don’t miss out!

📍 Please note: The festival is held at Old Hall, Southwold – NOT on the beach.

🍟 Meet the Dream Team Behind Bootiful Buckets!
Norfolk-based Kyle and Amanda are rolling into the Southwold Sausage Walk Summer Festival with their outrageously good hand cut loaded chips, and trust us, these aren’t just any chips!
Their buckets come loaded with the tastiest, most indulgent toppings you can imagine, all piled high over those perfectly crisp, fluffy‑centred chips they’re famous for. Even better? 90% of their ingredients are sourced from local farms, so every mouthful supports the brilliant producers right here in our region.
So not only will you be tucking into the most delicious loaded fries you’ve ever tasted… you’ll be championing local farmers too. Hooray!
You can meet Kyle & Amanda on 4th July (although you probably won't be able to say hello...your mouths will be too full!)

🐾🐶Important Update for Saturday’s Festival🐶🐾

Following a meeting today with Southwold Old Hall, we wanted to update everyone regarding Saturday’s festival.

As always, the welfare of our dogs is our absolute priority. We have carefully monitored the weather forecasts, and while one weather app is currently showing temperatures of up to 27°C, most weather apps, including the BBC Weather app, are forecasting a high of around 24°C, with that temperature not expected until around 4pm, by which time our festival will be coming to a close. If temperatures do rise earlier than forecast, we will finish the festival before that happens.

Our festival will still be going ahead as planned, but we are asking everyone to use their own judgement and only bring their dog if they feel it is safe and comfortable to do so. Please don’t feel under any pressure to bring your dog if you think it’s too warm—their welfare will always come first.

As a precaution, we have cancelled all organised dog activities, including the Fancy Dress Competition and Gundog Demonstrations.

Throughout the day we will have plenty of measures in place to help keep dogs cool and comfortable, including:
🐾 Paddling pools
🐾 Buckets of fresh, cold water
🐾 Hoses for cooling down
🐾 Plenty of shaded areas
🐾 All stalls located indoors

We would also encourage owners not to walk their dogs around the festival site during the warmest part of the day.

Please remember that this is a family festival as well as a dog festival. If you decide to leave your dog safely at home, we completely understand and would still love to see you come along and enjoy the stalls, food, entertainment, and everything else the day has to offer.

Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and for always putting your dogs’ welfare first. We look forward to welcoming you all on Saturday and hope everyone has a fantastic day. ❤️
