For our members-only walks at the Southwold Sausage Society, each member is welcome to bring one guest. For insurance reasons, all guests must be aged 14 or over, this is a strict requirement for all walks. Guests are also welcome to bring their own dog, as long as they attend with a member and meet the age requirement. Members can bring as many dachshunds as they like 🐾

🎉 BIG SUMMER NEWS! 🎉

We’re so excited to be collaborating with Old Hall Southwold Cafe & Walks to bring you the FIRST EVER Southwold Sausage Walk Summer Festival on Saturday 4th July, and we can’t wait!! LOOK AT THAT FOR A VENUE 👆😍

🐾 This will be a brilliant day out for doggos and their humans set on our beautiful rural site overlooking the Blyth Estuary; a day of music, family fun, fresh air, and festival sparkle! All breeds are welcome!

🎟️ This will be a ticketed, exclusive‑access event, which means once you’re in, the whole site is yours to enjoy. We’re talking live music, delicious street food, over 50 fantastic stalls to mooch around, a buzzing bar, dog‑friendly demos, free access to our brilliant play park where the kids can zoom down the zip wires, and all the space you need to wander, explore, and snap the best photos on our beautiful walks. Oh, and did we mention the free onsite organised parking (because no one needs faff on a festival day!)

It’s going to be joyful, silly, sausage‑themed summer magic… and we’re so excited to share it with you..

We are delighted to be raising funds for the Dog Meat Trade Dachshund Rescue at our upcoming event in July. We encourage you to follow their work and learn more about the incredible impact this charity is making.

The Dog Meat Trade Dachshund Rescue is a UK-based charity dedicated to rescuing dachshunds from the dog meat trade, illegal breeding facilities, and kill shelters across parts of Asia. Since its founding in 2020, the organisation has saved the lives of over 300 dachshunds, giving each one the opportunity for a safe, healthy, and loving future.

Guided by their powerful motto, “No Dachshund Left Behind,” a committed team of volunteers works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these vulnerable dogs. Their efforts ensure that every dachshund in their care is given the second chance it deserves.
