The Big Fish Darts Academy - Monday see our first in house handicapped club championship - and what a night it was - we had 84 group games to get through to make it down to the last 16 - with 30 players across 3 categories of beginners, intermediate and advanced! It was extremely close the whole way through with even 2 groups having shootouts to make up 3 of the places in the last 16! Well done to everyone involved it was great to see everyone mix with the players in other categories who they don’t usually get to mix with! The level of respect and maturity shown throughout was outstanding- our last 16 was made up of 5 beginners 4 intermediates and 7 advanced! So was so good to have a mix of all categories making it that far! We played down to the final which see Teddy Penston vs Will Fisher which will take place at the start of this weeks academy so stay tuned for the final result! A few big shoutouts to our furthest intermediate Josh Plowman who won a gift card for his efforts he made it to the semi finals before falling short to Teddy Penston and another two big shoutouts to our furthest beginners who also won gift cards for their valiant efforts, Ralph Bailey and Charlie Allen both beating a mix of intermediates and advanced players on their way! Well played boys was great to see! And well played to everyone who took part there were positives to take for everyone! Good luck to Teddy and Will in this weeks final!
