This Saturday we're at Bakewell Showground for one of the most beloved events in the Maverick calendar. Routes head deep into the Peak District National Park - high moorland, river valleys, old railways, summit peaks and sections of the iconic Pennine Way.⁠

Race day kit checklist! ☑️

We're one week out from the Maverick Peak District X-Trail and it's time to get your kit sorted. Here's your list of essentials to have with you on race day -

✅ Trail shoes suitable for mixed terrain - check out
✅ Distance proof, blister proof socks- check out
✅ Hydration pack or vest (mandatory for longer distances) - we recommend
✅ Fuel for the run - whatever works for you from
✅ Waterproof / wind layer (the weather can change fast)
✅ Skin protection - 50+ SPF and Anti-Chafe from
✅ Fully charged GPS route downloaded - we recommend
✅ Reusable cup or bottle (we're plastic-free at all Maverick events!) - find them in our online store!
