Two years down.

When we started The Drop, the goal was simple: build something proper for Southampton hip hop. A room that respects the music, a system that sounds right, and a stage that actually means something when you step on it.

Two years later, the scene is different. The talent was just coming up, it just needed a home.

Massive respect to every artist who took the mic, every DJ on the decks, and everyone who spent their hard-earned money to be in the room. This only works because you show up 👊

The Collective return for their third headline back at The Drop. This time, it’s the official launch for their brand-new mixtape, The Double Pill. A serious body of work repping real voices and raw talent, built and arranged by local legend producer Sean Country.

Plus, making the 450-mile journey south, Glasgow hip hop duo JAY-LEE CCTV👁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 are touching down. Pure Braveheart energy, taking chances and bringing northern heat to the South Coast.

This is exactly why we open the floor. The talent in this city runs deep, and Chimney came through early to prove that if you step up to this mic, you better bring your absolute best. No warm-ups needed.
