Love cooking over fire? Want to work at some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the South?

We’re not your typical caterers. We specialize in freshly prepared, ethically sourced, and locally grown food that tells a story. We’re looking for a talented, high-energy Chef to join our team for the upcoming wedding and event season across Hampshire and Dorset.

If you’re tired of "boring potato salad" and want to create culinary experiences that people actually talk about, we want to hear from you.

The Role:

Prepping and cooking high-quality menus for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
Mastering live-fire and BBQ cooking (we’re all about the flames!).
Working on-site at stunning locations across Dorset, Hampshire, and beyond.
Representing us with a professional, friendly, and "can-do" attitude.

What we’re looking for:

Experience in high-volume catering or busy kitchens (weddings/events experience is a huge plus).
A genuine passion for local produce and seasonal cooking.
Reliability – events wait for no one!
A full UK driving license and your own transport (essential for getting to our beautiful, sometimes remote, venues).
Ability to stay calm and lead under pressure during the "heat" of service.

Warning: our feasts may cause excessive plant-based cravings. We’ve been seeing a massive shift toward ‘flexitarian’ menus, where plant-forward comfort dishes are the real stars of the show. Honestly, seeing a dedicated meat-eater go back for seconds of our rich lentil dahl or honey-roasted New Forest squash is one of my favorite parts of an event. It’s all about that deep, warming comfort factor: using local produce that is so naturally flavorful it doesn't need to mimic anything else. We focus on hearty, vibrant plates that leave every guest feeling full and happy, regardless of their usual diet. Choosing these plant-forward mains takes the complexity out of your planning. You don't have to worry about separate menus when the main event is something everyone is genuinely excited to dive into.

Our 80s Murder Mystery Dinner felt less like a party and more like stepping straight onto a film set. Between the suspicious shoulder pads and some truly questionable mullets, the energy was electric. Everyone fully committed to the bit, making the mystery as immersive as it was hilarious. It’s nights like these: filled with great people and incredible costumes: that make the planning worth every second. Huge shoutout to our guests for bringing the drama to the New Forest. We’re down to the very last few tickets for our 1980s All Star Murder Mystery Night at the beautiful Forest Park Hotel in Brockenhurst on February 6th. If you haven't grabbed yours yet, now is the time before they're gone for good!

There is something truly special about cooking for a retreat. This past weekend was a beautiful reminder of how food can act as a bridge to connection, grounding us after a day of movement and coastal air.

I had the absolute pleasure of designing and preparing a fully plant-based menu focused on vibrant colors, varied textures, and deep, warming flavors. Here is a look at what we shared.

🥣 To Start: Small Bites & Big Flavors

We kicked things off with a selection of appetizers designed to awaken the palate. The Sundried Tomato Lentil Blinis were a personal favorite, topped with Smoked Applewood cheese, earthy pickled beetroot, and a light apple foam.

We also snacked on:

Roasted Balsamic Butterbeans tossed with toasted seeds and nuts.

Cumin Hummus served with a crunch of mixed veggie crisps.

🥗 The Main Event: Vibrant Sharing Platters

For the main course, I wanted to create a "sharing style" experience to encourage conversation around the table. The spread included:

Hearty Grains: A gluten-free Buckwheat Grain salad elevated with pistachio, hibiscus, ginger, and barberries.

Roasted Roots: A medley of Squash (including Crown Prince and Butternut) topped with spiced roasted chickpeas, seeds, and a rose harissa yogurt dressing.

Rich Umami: Pulled Aubergine & Wild Mushroom slow-cooked in a chocolate mola and served over whisked tahini.

Fresh Greens: A refreshing Radish & Baby Cucumber salad with dill, mint, and pickled ginger , alongside a Spinach, Fig & Avocado salad.

We rounded out the table with fresh Focaccia, pickled red onions, and a chili oil with cashews and ground flaxseed for an extra kick.

🍫 Sweet Endings

No retreat is complete without a little indulgence. To wrap up our evenings, we enjoyed a trio of treats:

A rich Chocolate Torte served with fresh raspberries and a vanilla/raspberry coulis.

Mango & Coconut Bliss Balls dipped in white chocolate.

Decadent Pecan & Dark Chocolate Brownies finished with chocolate ganache and cream.

The catering team managed our 100-guest premium buffet flawlessly. The food was exquisitely presented, delicious, and delivered with incredible efficiency and charm.
