Welcome to the historical Old Bridge, a 16th Century Elizabethan manor house, located in rural Somerset. Surrounded by two acres of enchanting grounds and gardens, it is the perfect setting for your special occasion. Old Bridge is built with the local, honey coloured Ham Stone and has a wonderfully warm and unique character. It is our pleasure for us to share it with those of you who would like to
enjoy the property as a majestic backdrop to a memorable celebration. We are entirely focused on your special day. Our events will never overlap to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. You will have exclusive use of the marquee, gardens and grounds for your event allowing you to arrange all the proceedings as you wish. You will have access to the venue the day before your event to prepare and install your decorations and also on the day after to clear down and collect any belongings. Old Bridge is a perfect venue for gatherings both large and small. Our marquee can be partitioned to accommodate smaller parties. All of the facilities we provide are flexible and can be moulded to fit your needs. From 2017, we will open the main hall in the house with a licence for Marriages. You also have the freedom to arrange your preferred food, drink and entertainment exactly as you wish and an added bonus – we don’t charge corkage or VAT.
