*Cough* hello... I'm aware we've been a bit quiet for a while. I'm also aware that people are wondering if we're doing a 2026 event, so I thought I drop in a small update, the short answer being: We're still working on it.
For a longer answer: We've got a venue that we'd like to run at, which I'll tell you now would be Pembrey, for a variety of solid reasons. We've been offered one date which isn't suitable, and we're waiting on another date that is very much in line with what we'd like, but it has a provisional hold on it. However it was looking like this may not actually be taken. That was where it sat pre-Christmas. Obviously everyone shut down and had a break at that point. We're still waiting to find out if that date if going to become free.
We'll keep trying to make something happen, but we've given ourselves until the end of January to get a firm date. If that can't be done, then we're afraid it'll be 2027 before we return. Our initial plan was to run something relatively low key in 2026, albeit still with a solid stream, and great action. Then come in SUPER strong in 2027, big production, big promotion, etc. etc. If we don't get to do the 2026 thing, then 2027 going BIG is still the plan.
So hang in there, this event isn't defunct, it just has to be done right or it isn't going to be worth it for all involved.
