😃How can it be just 16 weeks until this year’s show?😃 We’ve got a fabulous line up of exhibitors this year. Some have been with us from the beginning and others will be joining us for the first time this year. Just putting the finishing touches to the website page and then we’ll reveal all.

Elsie was the favourite by a long way. And we think it really does suit her. Looking forward to this year’s Elsie bags.

A huge thank you to everyone who voted in the poll or sent us wonderful suggestions - we had hundreds to choose from and loved reading every single one.

Bank holiday knitting and keeping hydrated. Sock yarn from and one of the many donations made at last year’s Yarndale. We always like to pop in and see what’s in the baskets. Knitting a pair of summer socks (free pattern on our website).

WIP Wednesday and we think a few more pinks and reds to add to the circles from Monday night. You can join us on Mondays and make circles with us at Yarndale Social. Not Monday 25th though as it’s a bank holiday so we’ll be staying home and 🤞making circles in the sunshine 🤞🤞🤞.

The circles for this year’s Worldwide Creative Project were flying off the hooks last night at Yarndale Social. We were turning these cheerful balls into many, many circles. This year we’re supporting UNICEF . 🧶Worldwide Creative Project 2026🧶

Inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s interactive Obliteration Room, which we loved at the Tate, this year’s creative challenge follows in her footsteps to create an array of woolly dots to cover the auction mart in colour. Our display will be interactive too.

This year we’d like you to make circles, as many as you like to create swathes of colourful dots at the show. This is the perfect way to use any scraps leftover from your projects. Bright colours will work best, think rainbows and sunny days.

All the details for both crocheted and knitted circles are on our website and there are 2 simple patterns.

This year we are supporting UNICEF to raise funds and awareness of their incredible vital work for children. Every penny raised will help to transform the lives of children around the world.

WIP Wednesday and we’re joining a few granny squares to make a new peg bag. Granny squares are so versatile. Once you’ve mastered them they join to make the most wonderful and useful things you can imagine. There’s lots of help and free patterns on our website. Oh and YouTube videos to get you started too!
